Hoje, o KDE anuncia o lançamento do KDE Frameworks 5.104.0.

KDE Frameworks are 83 addon libraries to Qt which provide a wide variety of commonly needed functionality in mature, peer reviewed and well tested libraries with friendly licensing terms. For an introduction see the KDE Frameworks release announcement.

Compilar usando o código fonte é possível usando os comandos básicos cmake .; make; make install. Para um único framework de primeiro nível, isso costuma ser a solução mais fácil.
