Install new fonts
KDE Linux includes an intentionally minimal set of fonts. Follow either of the following approaches to get more:
From System Settings
Easiest, but with a limited set of available fonts.
- Open System Settings and navigate to Text & Fonts > Font Management.
- Click the Get New Fonts… button.
- Locate the desired fonts in the dialog window that appears and click on their Install buttons.
Manually
More work, but supports almost any font you can find.
- Acquire the font files from any sources. Websites, a local administrator, etc.
- Locate the font files and double-click them.
- When prompted for a location to install them, choose User. KDE Linux does not support systemwide font installation right now.
