Use a pre-Turing (older than GTX 1630) NVIDIA GPU

These GPUs are limited to the Nouveau graphics drivers, which are pre-installed. However they must be manually enabled. Here's how to do so:

1. Power on or reboot the system
2. Repeatedly press the spacebar to make the boot menu appear
3. On the boot menu, press the e key
4. Type ”nomodeset ” (yes, include the trailing space)
5. Press the Enter key
6. Log in, now in low graphics mode
7. Create a file named /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-utils.conf with this content:

   install nouveau
   blacklist nvidia
   

8. Now reboot again
