אפשר לאמץ את אחד היישומים של KDE ואנו נוכל לשתף עם כל העולם כמה מדהים או מדהימה אתה או את על תמיכתך בנו. אימוץ יישום הוא תהליך מאוד פשוט:

1. לתרום כסך על סך €50 או יותר למסע ההתרמה שלנו.
2. לבחור יישום לאימוץ מהרשימה להלן. לכל יישום יכולים להיות עד 5 מאמצים. אנו נוסיף עוד יישומים ככל שחלונות האימוץ ישובצו.
3. במהלך התרומה, יש להשתמש בסעיף התגובה כדי לכתוב איזה יישום ברצונך לאמץ ואת השם שברצונך שאנשים יכירו. זה יכול להיות השם שלך, הכינוי שלך או הכינוי שלך ברשתות החברתיות^*†…
4. השם שלך יופיע בתיעוד היישום ב־apps.kde.org בתור תמיכה מרגע התרומה ועד להוצאה לאור של Gear 25.04 באפריל בשנה העוקבנת. אנו גם נדבר בשבחך ברשתות החברתיות.
